Santa Lucía del Este is a town in Uruguay .
geography
Santa Lucía del Este is located in the Canelones department in sector 8 . It lies on the coast of the Río de la Plata between the west adjacent Araminda and the eastern border to the neighboring Biarritz forming Arroyo de la Coronilla . In the northern hinterland, Piedras de Afilar is also located a few kilometers away .
Infrastructure
The city is on the Ruta Interbalnearia .
