Parque del Plata is a city in southern Uruguay .

geography

The traditional and historical seaside resort, located on the Costa de Oro in the Canelones department in its sector 17 , is nestled next to Las Toscas in the west and the mouth of the Arroyo Solís Chico in the east. The distance to the capital Montevideo is 49 km.
