Network for Good is an online fundraising - site for non-profit organizations. It has raised more than $ 1 billion in donations since it was founded. Network for Good charges between 3% and 5% transaction fee per donation. The transaction fees can be borne by either the donor or the nonprofit organization.

history

Network for Good was founded in 2001 as a collaboration between America Online , Cisco Systems, and Yahoo . The company replaced the website Helping.org , which was founded by AOL. In 2002, the company announced it had raised approximately $ 1 million per month in revenue and approximately $ 30 million in annual donations in 2005. In 2005, Network for Good took over the non-profit organization Groundspring, which was founded in 1999 by the Tides Foundation.
