The net armored catfish ( Corydoras reticulatus ) is a freshwater ornamental fish from the genus Corydoras . It can be up to 6 cm long and is native to the waters of southern Brazil up to the Río de la Plata .
Like its congeners, the net armored catfish lives in groups on the bottom of the water, but more often than many other representatives of armored catfish swim through the open water. As an intestinal breather , he also needs free access to the water surface.
