Network Health Economy Münsterland
The Münsterland is one of six health regions in the country cluster health industry North Rhine-Westphalia . The network health economy Münsterland e. V. supports and intensifies the work of the regional cluster “Health Region Münsterland”. As part of the nationwide coordinated division of labor, it has taken on the sponsorship of the subject of "hygiene", especially with regard to infection prevention.

The Netzwerk Gesundheitswirtschaft Münsterland e. V. wants to harness the potential of the health economy in Münster and in the Münsterland districts of Borken , Coesfeld , Steinfurt and Warendorf and promote local stakeholders. The Münsterland health economy region is also supported by the cluster management in the Health Center in Bochum.
The office of the Münsterland Healthcare Network is located at the largest health location in the region, in the Münster regional center. Around 30,000 people work in the health industry here, and there are more than 90,000 employees in the entire region, including Münster. This makes the health industry the second largest industry in the Münsterland.
The almost 40 network members include research and supply institutions, umbrella organizations and companies from the Münsterland health industry. The association is financed through membership fees, donations, project-related contributions and grants.

The association Netzwerk Gesundheitswirtschaft Münsterland promotes the regional health economy through the establishment and further development of cooperation between companies, supply and research institutions. Thus it bundles the interests of the actors from business, science, clinics and industry along a value chain. It also supports the acquisition of funding for research, supply and development projects, the implementation of innovations as well as public relations and location development. The participation, organization and implementation of information events, congresses and trade fairs complete the profile of the association.
The Münsterland Health Management Forum has established itself as one of the most important network platforms. It serves the actors of the regional health economy to plan cooperations, to define common goals for the health region Münsterland and to increase the quality in patient care. The “Dialogue in the Network” takes place at regular intervals and at different locations in the region for the exchange of knowledge and for the networking of the actors. It shows trends and developments as well as best practice examples of the health economy in the Münsterland.
