Neudorf is a district of the municipality of Cunewalde in Saxony .

The scattered settlement is east of the 499.5 m high Bieleboh on the country road from Cunewalde to Schönbach .

history

The settlement arose in the middle of the 18th century between Obercunewalde and Lauba on the corridors of the Obercunewalde manor and was first mentioned in 1768. In 1777 Neudorf consisted of eleven cottages . After 1800, a new row of houses was laid out north of Neudorf - the "Neuenhäuser".

Neudorf was never independent, but always formed a part of the community. Until 1939 the settlement belonged to the municipality of Obercunewalde, since then it has been part of Cunewalde.
