The Neuendorfer See (also Fernneuendorfer See ) is a natural lake in the area of the Sperenberg district of the municipality of Am Mellensee in the Teltow-Fläming district in Brandenburg .
Location and description
Neuendorfer See is located about 40 km south of Berlin-Mitte in the Baruther glacial valley . It is fed in the south by the smaller Mönningsee . The outflow takes place in the north-west of the lake via a small ditch, which first flows into the Heegesee , then into the Schumkesee and then back into the Schneidegraben at Kummersdorf-Alexanderdorf . Here the outflow runs further east over the Mellensee into the Notte Canal to the Dahme .
