The Kadada ( Russian Кадада ; in the upper reaches Елань-Кадада ( Jelan-Kadada )) is a left tributary of the Sura in the Russian oblasts of Ulyanovsk and Pensa .

The Kadada rises in the extreme southwest of the Ulyanovsk Oblast on the edge of the Volga Plateau . It initially flows in a westerly direction into Penza Oblast, later it gradually turns to the northwest. 2 km east of Tschaadajewka it finally flows into the upper reaches of the Sura.

The Kadada has a length of 150 km. It drains an area of ​​3620 km². The mean discharge near the mouth is 9.41 m³ / s.
