Kiełpinko

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Kiełpinko (German Neukölpin ) is a Ortswüstung in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . It is located in Gmina Brojce (municipality of Broitz) in the powiat Gryficki (district of Greifenberger) .

The desert is located in Western Pomerania , about 80 kilometers northeast of Stettin and about 30 kilometers southwest of Kolberg , just under 2 kilometers south of Kölpin .

The living space was created in the 19th century after the separation in the Feldmark von Kölpin. Around 1860 a distinction was made between a "Colonie", which consisted of six houses and belonged to the Kölpin A estate district , and a "dismantled Katen, called Hönkeberg", which belonged to the Kölpin B estate district. In local encyclopedias from 1885 and 1895, the place to live is listed as "Henkenberge". Around 1900, the place name "Neukölpin" caught on. In 1939 there were 37 inhabitants in 8 households in Neukölpin.

Until 1945 Neukölpin formed a residential area in the community of Kölpin and belonged with this to the Kolberg-Körlin district .

In 1945 Neukölpin came to Poland, like all of Western Pomerania. The place received the Polish place name "Kiełpinko". Today it lies desolate .
