Neukrotimy

The Neukrotimy ( Russian: Неукротимый ) was a Russian frigate of the Kriwak class . It has the IMO number: 6127070.

history

The ship was laid on January 22, 1976 in the Jantar shipyard in Kaliningrad ; it was launched on September 7, 1977; it was put into service on February 17, 1978.

In 2005 there was an accident with practice ammunition on the ship, which partially sank in the Neva . Then the Neukrotimy was repaired in the Severnaya shipyard .

In 2008, the ship was in the port of Baltiysk , where it was being prepared for decommissioning from the Baltic fleet . On December 8, 2008, a fire broke out on board the frigate, in which an officer was killed.

On June 29, 2009 the frigate was decommissioned. On October 3, 2012, the ship sank on the quay of the port of Baltiysk due to the poor condition.
