Neuneck is a district of Glatten in the northern Black Forest. Neuneck is located on the Glatt River , about 2.5 km down the valley from Glatten. The place has about 250 inhabitants.
history
The Reformation was introduced in Neuneck in 1579 by Anastasius Kommerell on behalf of Burkhard and Jerg von Ehingen . Since then, the place has been evangelical.
Neuneck was incorporated into Glatten on January 1, 1974.

Neuneck Castle was built between 1230 and 1260 above the town by the Lords of Neuneck . In the Middle Ages, the castle consisted of two parts, the Upper and Lower Castle. From 1658 the castle was demolished. Today the Upper Castle has completely disappeared. A small residential castle with a shield wall still stands from the lower castle.

The Evangelical Church of St. Maria and Georg in Neuneck has existed since 1493 and has 430 seats.
