Neunkirch-lès-Sarreguemines

Neunkirch (until 1963: Neunkirch-lès-Sarreguemines ) ( German : Neunkirchen ) is a district of Sarreguemines (France) in the region of Grand Est (2015 Lorraine ), two kilometers northeast of downtown.
History
In 1963 the place was incorporated into Saargemünd.
Attractions
- The Romanesque church of St-Denis, the mother church of Saargemünd, was built in the 13th-15th centuries. It was rebuilt in the Gothic style in 1811 and 1849–50, enlarged and vested, with the addition of a choir and sacristy.
- The Bliesmühle, a former "Wackenmühle" that was used to produce earthenware mass, now houses a themed museum for earthenware technology. The important collection of machines and special hand tools for the ceramic industry is unique in Europe.
