Neural excitation circuit

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A neural excitation circuit or neural circuit is a functional unit of interconnected neurons that mutually influence each other's activity (similar to a control circuit ). The simplest neural excitation circuit is the monosynaptic reflex arc .

The connections are electrochemical in nature and usually consist of dendrites that are connected to other neurons via synapses .

In the epistemological methodology of John Cunningham Lilly , the neural circuit is called a biocomputer .
