Neustädt (desert)

Neustädt is a desert near the city of Müuellen (Geiseltal) in Saxony-Anhalt .

In a register of the tithe of the Hersfeld monastery , which was created between 881 and 899, a tithing place in the Gau Friesenfeld is named under the name Niustat , which was presumably the later deserted Neustädt or the present day Nienstedt near Allstedt or the deserted Nienstedt .
