The New Journal of Chemistry , abbreviated as New J. Chem. , Is a scientific journal published by the Royal Society of Chemistry together with the Center national de la recherche scientifique . The journal was founded in 1977 under the name Nouveau Journal de Chimie , changed the name in 1987 to New Journal of Chemistry and is currently published with twelve issues a year.
