The New Renault Clio Cup (until 2005 Renault Clio Cup ) is an automobile sport racing series that was held from 2002 to 2007 as part of the Beru TOP 10 .

Since 2008 the New Renault Clio Cup has been continued as a separate classification within the VLN endurance championship Nürburgring . (2008, 2009 and 2010 also as a "sprint rating" within the ADAC Procar series and in 2009 and 2010 as an extra rating within the Nürburgring circuit challenge .)

It is a one-make cup operated by Renault MotorSport Germany and should not be confused with the Renault Clio V6 Trophy, which was held from 2000 to 2003 and is also part of the Beru TOP 10 .

run

In the 2007 season, its last as an independent series, the New Renault Clio Cup took place on eight different racetracks in Europe, including the Nürburgring-Nordschleife as part of the 24-hour race .

2007 regulations

With the exception of the 24-hour race, there were two runs of 35 minutes each. The start was standing; the starting grid was determined during qualifying the day before. The line-up for the second run resulted from the result of the first run, with places one to six being arranged in reverse order.
