New York Pancyprian Freedoms is an American football club based in New York that won the National Challenge Cup three times in the early 1980s . The club takes part in the game operations of the fifth-rate New York Cosmopolitan Soccer League and won it in 1979, 1980, 1982, 2003, 2004, 2010 and 2011. There the opponent is in the Derby NY Greek American Atlas .
Following the cup wins in 1982 and 1983, the club took part in the CONCACAF Champions' Cup . In 1983 , the team failed in the second round at the Mexican representative and eventual tournament winner Atlante , while in the following season in 1984 they prevailed against the reigning Mexican champions Puebla and qualified for the semi-finals, where they would have played against the Mexican record champions Guadalajara . Because both clubs failed to agree on a game date, they were disqualified together and Violette AC , the winner of the other semi-final, was declared the winner.
