Nicholas Rogers (born March 6, 1969 in Sydney ) is an Australian film actor and model .

Life

Rogers spent his childhood near Sydney with his brothers Steve and Tim.

Contrary to his father's expectations that he would continue to run his company, Rogers was always a rebel , spending more time on the beach than studying. At the age of 10 he ran away from home to see the world, but ended up in boarding school for punishment .

After graduating from high school at the age of 17, Rogers began working for a US fashion agency , where he worked as a model for jeans for almost two years .

It was not until 1993 that the Italian film director Lamberto Bava noticed him, who cast him for the role of the evil wizard Tarabas in the fantasy film Princess Fantaghiro . It was to become the character Rogers is best known for today.

After he played wild and opaque characters in The False Princess and The Pirates of the Caribbean directed by Lamberto Bava, he portrayed Jesus Christ in Mary - Daughter of Her Son , a film adaptation of the Bible from the year 2000. In 2005 he stood for the short film The Razor's Edge in front of the camera.

After making stops in New York, London and Paris, he lives in Sydney again.

On March 10, 2007, he married his longtime girlfriend, Angela. The wedding took place in Manly.
