Nickson Chilangwa

Nickson Chilangwa (born January 10, 1969 ) is a Zambian politician of the Patriotic Front (PF).

Life

Chilangwa worked as a hotel and restaurant consultant after various training and further education. He was first elected to the National Assembly of Zambia as a candidate for the Patriotic Front (PF) in the constituency of Kawambwa in 2011 and was re-elected in the election on August 11, 2016. First he was a backbencher and then from January 2015 to May 2016 a member of the Committee on Economics, Energy and Labor, and between September 2015 and May 2016 also a member of the Youth and Sports Committee of the National Assembly.

In August 2016, President Edgar Lungu appointed him provincial minister for Luapula province in his cabinet .
