Nico Zager (born March 5, 1994 in Frankfurt (Oder) ) is a German volleyball player .

Career

Zager first played soccer before switching to volleyball in 2007, following his mother's example. He started his career at TSV Rudow in 1888 . In 2009 he moved to SCC Berlin . At the same time, the former outside attacker became a diagonal player. At SCC he was initially active in the Berlin League. Then he received a double right and was mainly used at VC Olympia Berlin . In 2012 he took part in the European Championships in Denmark and Poland with the German junior national team. He then moved to Bundesliga club TV Rottenburg . In the 2014/15 season Zager played for the second division TSV GA Stuttgart .
