Nicolas Marin (born August 29, 1980 in Marseille ) is a former French football player.

Career

Marin began his career at AJ Auxerre before he was loaned to AS Saint-Étienne and CS Sedan and then bought. In 2007 he moved to FC Lorient , but after several disagreements with Lorient manager Christian Gourcuff , he agreed on a six-month loan with the English club Plymouth Argyle . After the loan expired, he agreed with SC Bastia on a one-year loan. After his contract with FC Lorient had expired, he moved to Swiss club FC Sion in summer 2009 and to FC Lausanne-Sport in summer 2011 . Half a year later, in January 2012, he moved to Dubai SC in the United Arab Emirates . After six months in Dubai, he moved to Skoda Xanthi in Greece . In 2017 he ended his career with the New Caledonian club AS Magenta .
