Nicola Birkner (born December 7, 1969 in Berlin ) is a German sailor.
In 1977 Nicola Birkner began sailing in the Optimist dinghy. In 1985, after winning the European Youth Championship, she switched to the 420 .
From 1992 Birkner sailed with Wibke Bülle in the 470 and took part in several world championships for Germany. In 2000 the team started at the Olympic Summer Games in Sydney and reached 5th place there.
Today Birkner sails mostly in the 505 class. It starts for the association Seglerhaus am Wannsee (VSaW) in Berlin.
