Nicolaas Pieneman
Nicolaas Pieneman (born January 1, 1809 in Amersfoort , † December 30, 1860 in Amsterdam ) was a Dutch painter .
Nicolaas Pieneman was a son of Johan Willem Pieneman . Like his father, he painted portraits, including of the Dutch kings Wilhelm II and Wilhelm III. He was especially good friends with King Wilhelm II. Many of his works still belong to the private collection of the Dutch royal family.
