Nicolas Imbernon (born November 30, 1929 in Port-de-Bouc , † April 11, 1992 in Violès ) was a French football player . He completed 140 games in the French first division .

Imbernon began his professional career in 1951 at Stade Français . There he played in the second division , but only came to two missions. After a short stopover at CA Paris , he joined FC Metz in 1953 . For three years he played there as a regular player in the first division. In 1956 he moved to Stade Rennes . With Rennes he was relegated to the second division in 1957, but a year later he was promoted again. In 1959 Imbernon said goodbye after 140 games and twelve goals from the first division and moved to Montpellier in the second division. From 1961 to 1963 AS Troyes was his last professional station in the second division. In the second division, he completed a total of 180 games. From 1966 to 1967 an amateur club in Avallon was his last stop before retiring.
