Martin started his international career in 2003 in junior competitions before starting in March 2004 in FIS races . From January 2007 he started in the B World Cup. On January 31, 2009, Martin made his debut in the Nordic Combined World Cup in Chaux-Neuve . At the Junior World Championships in 2009 in Štrbské Pleso , he won the silver medal with the team. After the Junior World Championships, he started again in the Continental Cup and the Alpine Cup.
