Nicolas Walewski

Nicolas Walewski (born May 2, 1965 in Neuilly-sur-Seine , France ) is a French financial investor and fund manager .

Career

He first attended the École polytechnique in Paris and then obtained a master's degree from the École nationale de la statistique et de l'administration économique (ENSAE) . In 1993 he joined the Crédit Lyonnais company and later also worked in Frankfurt as a portfolio manager and analyst . In 1998 he moved to Banque SYZ , where he worked as a fund manager from 1999 to 2005 and outperformed the STOXX 600 by 7.3% annually with the fund he managed . In July 2005 he founded Alken Asset Management, where he is responsible for various funds (Alken European Opportunities Fund, Alken Absolute Return Europe, Alken Small Cap Europe, Alken Capital One Fund).

Nicolas Walewski has been on the list of the 500 richest French people in the French business magazine Challenges since 2013 and was ranked 443 in 2019.
