Nicolaus Sauerwaldt

Nicolaus Sauerwaldt (born December 23, 1638 in Aschersleben , † April 17, 1722 in Blankenburg (Harz) ) was a Protestant theologian.

Nicolaus Sauerwaldt studied theology and obtained a master's degree. He was appointed consistorial councilor and Braunschweigisch-Lüneburg senior court preacher. From 1672 he was pastor at the St. Bartholomäuskirche in Blankenburg (Harz). The baroque altar of the church was consecrated during his tenure.

Nicolaus Sauerwaldt was superintendent of the County of Blankenburg .
