Nicole Berger-Krotsch

Nicole Berger-Krotsch (born October 31, 1975 in Grieskirchen ) is an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ). Since October 31, 2006 she has been a member of the Vienna State Parliament and a member of the Vienna City Council .

education and profession

After graduating from high school in Wels , Nicole Krotsch began studying journalism and communication science as well as political science at the University of Vienna , which she completed in 2000 with a master's degree. From 1997 to 1999 she attended the university course for market and opinion research at the University of Vienna. During his studies, Krotsch worked at Triconsult Wirtschaftsanalytische Forschung Ges.mbH

At the end of her studies, Krotsch began to work for the SPÖ. From 1999 to 2001 she worked in the action office of the SPÖ federal office and from 2001 to 2006 she held the position of district manager of the SPÖ Mariahilf .

politics

Nicole Krotsch has been involved in several organizations and / or preliminary organizations of the SPÖ since 2001. She has been a board member of the Society for Humanities and Social Sciences (GGS) in the BSA since 2001, and she also focused on district politics in Mariahilf. She has been a member of the district executive committee there since 2002 and was a member of the executive committee of the young generation from 2003 , of which she was a member until February 2016. Since 2005 Krotsch has held the position of district women chairperson and in April 2006 also became the women’s secretary of the SPÖ Vienna. She is also a member of the board of waff (Vienna Employee Promotion Fund).

Krotsch held her first mandate between 2005 and 2006 as a district councilor in Mariahilf. She has been a member of the state parliament and councilor since October 2006.
