Nicole Castro

Nicole Castro (born February 3, 1984 in Darwin ) is an Australian - French basketball player . She is 1.78 m tall.

Castro attended college at the University of Washington from 2002 to 2006 . In her freshman year, she was named the team's Most Improved Player and played just under five minutes per game. Her sophomore year was more successful, because Nicole Castro now played twelve minutes on average and received the KKNW Radio 1150 Outstanding Defensive Player Award for strong defense performance. Even in the junior and senior years she was able to convince through defense and team play. She received her university degree in English.

In the 2006/2007 season, the player based in the forward position plays for BG 74 Göttingen, with whom she successfully mastered the relegation round in the DBBL . In an average of 24 minutes, she got 4.6 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists.

For the 2007/2008 season, the player moved to her native Australia .
