Nicole Gerdes

Nicole Gerdes (* 1976 ) is a former German gymnast.

Gerdes, mother of a son born in 2010, was a member of the German national team for more than ten years. She initially started for the Blumenthaler SV . At the German Gymnastics Championships in 1993 in Bremen, she was second in rhythmic gymnastics behind the winner Magdalena Brzeska in the rope and hoop disciplines. In the club and ball ratings she was third. In 1994 she won the German championship on rope. She was also able to book three silver medals on ribbon, clubs and hoop in her personal track record. Starting in the following year for SV Werder Bremen , she was second on the tape and rope and again reached third place in the disciplines of ball and club.

In 1992 and 1993 she was state athlete of the year in Bremen . After her active career, she started a coaching career at Blumenthaler TV.
