Nicolle Pfaff

Nicolle Pfaff (born January 1976 in Leinefelde ) is a German educator.

Life

She studied education and sociology . After completing her doctorate in educational sciences at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg , she was a research fellow from 2007 to 2008 by the German Research Foundation at universities in Brazil and the USA. From 2009 to 2012 she taught as a junior professor for empirical school research with a focus on migration and integration at the University of Göttingen . Since 2012 she has been a professor for migration and inequality research at the University of Duisburg-Essen .

Her work focuses on educational inequality, education in the migration society, youth, youth culture and politics, school and segregation and qualitative research methods and method triangulation.
