Niederkell
Niederkell is a place in the Saarburg-Kell association , which belongs to the local communities Mandern and Waldweiler , with the former having the greater share. There is a factory of the Bilstein company in Niederkell .
The Schillingen station of the Hochwaldbahn used to be in Niederkell . The station was named after Schillingen because the Bahnhofstrasse led there from here, as this was the next larger place when the line was built. In the station there was also a siding to the Bilstein factory, which was operated until the 1990s and then abandoned and dismantled. Today the Ruwer-Hochwald-Radweg runs along the former railway line .
