Dutch in Germany
Dutch people in Germany , including Dutch Germans , are Dutch people who moved to Germany or were born and raised in Germany as the child of a Dutch parent. In 2017, 154,630 Dutch nationals lived in Germany. The Lower Saxony municipality of Zeven is jokingly referred to as the “largest Dutch city outside the Netherlands” because numerous Dutch soldiers are stationed there.
Traditionally, there are very close ties to the Netherlands in northwest Germany.
