The Gmina Wicko is a rural community (gmina wiejska) in the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship and belongs to the powiat Lęborski . Its seat is in the village of Wicko [ 'vit͡skɔ ] (German Vietzig , Kashubian Wickò ) with about 690 inhabitants.

The Gmina Wicko is located in Western Pomerania , about 15 kilometers north of Lębork (Lauenburg in Pomerania) and five kilometers south of the city of Łeba (Leba) on the Baltic Sea .

The waters include the Łeba (Leba) , which forms the largest part of the municipal boundary in the west. In the north-west part of the large Jezioro Łebsko (Lebasee ) belongs to the municipal area, while the smaller Jezioro Sarbsko (Sarbsker lake) belongs entirely to the municipal area.

The state railway line 229 runs through the municipality from north to south from Łeba to Lębork and further via Kartuzy (Karthaus) to Pruszcz Gdański (Praust) . The two train stations Steknica (Fichthof) and Wrzeście (Freest bei Leba) are located in the Gmina area.
