The Lower Saxony State Office for Social Affairs, Youth and Family is a higher state authority in the business area of the Lower Saxony Ministry for Social Affairs, Health and Equality .

history
The State Office was formed from the former Lower Saxony State Office for Central Social Tasks - NLZSA -, the pension offices and the State Youth Welfare Office and was reinforced by tasks from the areas of "social" and "health" from the disbanded district governments .
