The 2014 Nigeria Professional Football League was the 43rd season of Nigeria's top division in men's football. The season started on March 8, 2014 and ended on November 9, 2014.

The defending champions were the Kano Pillars , who again won the title this year.

Championship format

A total of 20 teams took part in the championship. Each team played once against each other team in the first and second half of the season, so that a total of 380 games were played. There were no games between June 14th and July 27th after the first half of the season.
