Nightflight to Venus is the third album by the pop group Boney M.

history

With the previous album Love for Sale , producer Frank Farian had already taken his creation Boney M. to first place in the German album charts. The success of this album was increased by the addition of new music styles with Nightflight to Venus . After Soundtrack Saturday Night Fever the Bee Gees album was the most successful pop album of the year 1978 in Germany. The single releases also achieved the highest chart positions and sales figures all over Europe. Nightflight to Venus was the only album by Boney M. that was also in the US album charts. It reached number 134.

Farian cut the pieces over and over again. Nightflight to Venus , which merges seamlessly into Rasputin , has at least four different lengths on different pressings, whereby the written information may differ from reality and the information on the cover does not have to match that of the label. The first time it was pressed it was 7:13, later 5:55, then 5:15 and 4:46 is the most common version.

The Remastered Edition

The album was re-released in 2007 by Sony BMG as "The Remastered Edition" with the following two additional tracks:
