Nikki Kerkhof (born December 21, 1983 in Sint-Oedenrode ) is a Dutch singer. In her home country she became known as the winner of the fourth season of the casting show Idols , which was broadcast on the private television broadcaster RTL 4 from October 2007 to March 2008 .
In the final broadcast on March 1, 2008, she prevailed in the audience vote with 62% of the votes against her competitor Nathalie Makoma. The win came with a contract with the Sony BMG record company .
Her debut single Hello World was released two days after the finale . With her she reached number 1 in the Dutch single charts in mid-March 2008 .
