Niko Juhola (born November 8, 1989 ) is a Swiss floorball player , of Finnish origin. He is under contract with the National League A representative Grasshopper Club Zurich .

Career

society

SC Classic

Juhola started his career at KNV, but later switched to SC Classic from Tampere . In 2006 he made his debut for the first team. In the first season he completed 14 games and scored four goals and one assist. In 2007/08 he was able to play with Classic up to the semifinals of the Salibandyliiga. There he lost to Tapanilan Era with the SC Classic. In the 2008/09 season he again qualified for the playoffs with the SC Classic. Classic failed in the quarterfinals at SPV Seinajoki. A year later he failed with Classic in the semifinals to EraViikingit. In 2011/12 he scored 20 points scorer in 23 games. With Classic he was able to finish the qualification in first place and was only defeated in four games. In the following playoffs he was able to play with Classic up to the semifinals of the Salibandyliiga , which was lost. In the series for third place, Juhola and Classic lost to the Espoon Oilers. In 2011/12 he again qualified for the playoffs with Classic, but failed in the quarter-finals.

UHC Uster

On June 8, 2012 UHC Uster announced the striker's commitment. For Uster he completed 27 games and scored 30 goals. He put on another 25 goals for his teammates. After one season he left Uster to join his home club SC Classic .

SC Classic

After his return, he only played seven games for Classic and scored six goals. In 2014/15 he was able to qualify for the playoffs again with Classic. In qualifying he scored 23 goals and 11 assists. In the quarter-finals, however, Classic lost to Tapanilan Era. In 2015/16 he completed only 19 regular games. The SC Classic won the qualification and made it to the Superfinal of the Salibandyliiga. He was able to win this with a 8-2 victory with Classic.

Grasshopper Club Zurich

After winning the title with Classic, he moved to Grasshopper Club Zurich for the 2016/17 season . On February 25, 2017, he won the Swiss Cup with GC with an 8: 7 win over HC Rychenberg Winterthur . He scored a goal in the cup final.

UHC Uster

On May 11, 2017, the UHC Uster announced the transfer of the offensive player.

National team

In 2007 he made his debut for the Finnish U19 floorball team. For the U19 national team, he scored two goals and four assists in five games.
