Career

Nesterow began playing tennis tournaments primarily on the ITF Future Tour in 2005 , although he almost only competed in doubles. In the individual, he won almost no match and was only able to place three times in the tennis world rankings.

In 2007 he played for a long time with Óscar Burrieza doubles, with whom he reached the semi-finals at the Challenger in Tunis . At the end of the year he was in the top 500 in the world. In 2008, the Russian managed a further increase and came to 341th place, his career high in the ranking. Despite a few finals in futures, he had not yet won a title. He succeeded in this in 2009 and 2011, when he had already fallen outside the top 600 in the ranking. The only appearance and highlight of his career in 2011 was the move up as an alternate in the double main field of the Masters in Madrid . There he retired with Sergio Pérez Pérez in the first round. A few months later, Nesterow ended his active career.
