Nikolai Sergeyevich Chemodanov
Nikolai Sergejewitsch Chemodanow ( Russian: Николай Сергеевич Чемоданов ; * December 17, 1903 , † December 29, 1986 in Moscow ) was a Soviet linguist, Germanist .
Chemodanov taught at Moscow State University from the 1930s. In 1944 he was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor . From 1949 to 1950 he was dean of the Faculty of Philology . His daughter, born in 1926, with Rosalija Schor also became a philologist.
