Nikolaj Pentschew ( Bulgarian Николай Пенчев , English transcription: Nikolay Penchev ; born May 22, 1992 in Plovdiv ) is a Bulgarian volleyball player .

Career

Penchev began his career in 2005 with Volley Victoria. In 2010 he moved to Pirin Balkanstroy . Shortly after participating in the European Junior Championships, he made his debut in the senior national team on September 26, 2010 . The following year, the outside attacker went to the Italian league to Copra Piacenza . In 2012 he reached fourth place with Bulgaria at the Olympic Games in London .
