Nikolaj Persson (born March 18, 1991 in Copenhagen ) is a German badminton player . He is the younger brother of the Danish badminton player Joachim Persson .

Athletic career

Persson has been playing for TSV Trittau since he was five , currently in the 2nd Badminton Bundesliga North. He was five times German youth and junior champion in men's singles, men's doubles and mixed. At the German Championships in 2010 he failed in the semifinals to Dieter Domke with 13-21, 14-21 and thus achieved bronze. In 2009 he reached the last sixteen at the World and European Junior Championships in men's singles.
