Nikolaos Gazis
Nikolaos "Nikos" Gazis ( Greek Νίκος Γαζής , born June 27, 1903 in Trikala ; † February 6, 1996 ) was a Greek politician .
Life
Gazis was a member of the Panellinio Sosialistiko Kinima (PASOK) socialist party . From July 24, 1984 to July 24, 1989 he was a member of the European Parliament . Gazis was the Age-President of the European Parliament and for several years Vice-Chairman of the Committee on Legal Affairs and Citizens' Rights.
