Nikolaus Heinrich Ditmersen

Nikolaus Heinrich Ditmersen (* 1658 ; † March 20, 1706 in Sibiu ) was a royal Danish colonel and chief of the Oldenburg cavalry regiment.

He was the son of the Lüneburg patrician Georg Ditmersen . He was educated at the high school in Hamburg . Then he joined the Danish army and rose to colonel via the Oldenburg cavalry regiment. The regiment was taken over in imperial pay on October 25, 1701 to fight in the War of the Spanish Succession in Italy . Ditmersen died in Sibiu in 1706.
