Nils Bennike
Nils Bennike (born August 6, 1925 in Copenhagen ) is a former Danish football player , he played on the position of midfielder .
Nils Bennike began his career at KB Copenhagen , in the 1950/51 season he moved abroad for the first time to the Italian Serie B club SPAL Ferrara . The Dane was able to assert himself right away and with his 15 goals was instrumental in ensuring that SPAL Ferrara rose to Serie A. In the following two seasons SPAL was able to assert itself in the midfield of the highest Italian league. For the 1953/54 season Bennike left SPAL for Genoa in 1893 , where he ended his career after one season.
He has played a total of 7 international matches for the Danish national team.
