Nils Madden

Nils Madden is a retired American basketball player .

Life

Madden played basketball at the University of California San Diego in the first NCAA division until 1987 . In his final game year 1986/87, the 2.03-meter-tall winger made 30 appearances with an average of 11.1 points and 7 rebounds per encounter.

In the 1987/88 season Madden played for DTV Charlottenburg in West Berlin , in addition to appearances in the basketball league , there were games in the European club competition Korać Cup . Madden then returned to the United States and worked as a buyer for a computer company in Rancho Bernardo, California . In 1989 ( Minnesota Timberwolves ), 1990 ( Phoenix Suns ) and 1991 ( Los Angeles Clippers ) he took part in trial training sessions for NBA teams, but received no contract in each case. He resumed his professional activity in the field of marketing. His son Nick played volleyball at Harvard University .
