Nina Marx

Nina Franziska Marx (born December 14, 1973 in Berlin ) is a judge at the Federal Court of Justice . She started her service there on June 29, 2017.

After completing her legal training in 2004, the judge entered the higher judicial service of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen . After completing her studies, she received her doctorate in law from the Georg-August University in Göttingen in June 2001. She worked at the Bremen-Blumenthal District Court and the Bremen District Court , where she was appointed judge at the District Court at the end of 2006. In December 2007 she moved to the Bremen Regional Court as a judge at the regional court , where she had been seconded since September 2007. From July 2008 to June 2011, Nina Marx was seconded to the Federal Court of Justice as a research assistant. In January 2013 she was promoted to judge at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court in Bremen . In December 2014, she was appointed as a part-time judge at the Higher Administrative Court .

The Presidium of the Federal Court of Justice initially assigned half of Nina Marx to the First Civil Senate and the X Civil Senate, who are primarily responsible for commercial legal protection and copyright, with the exception of technical property rights, for competition law, transport law, brokerage law and legal disputes over arbitral awards assigned, who focuses on patent and utility model disputes as well as patent nullity matters and is also responsible for passenger transport and travel contract law, gift and procurement law; She has been a full member of this Senate since January 1, 2018.
