Nina Milja Hoffmann

Nina Milja Hoffmann (* 1948 in Yugoslavia ) is a Yugoslav-German artist.

Life

Nina Hoffmann poured liquid wax onto her body in her performances in late 1970 and early 1980 . She also uses this sensitive material for her paintings, which she paints on canvas using the encaustic technique .

In 1989 Hoffmann received the sponsorship award from the City of Munich and in 1990 a scholarship from the Kunstfonds Bonn Foundation . She has been working as an artist in Berlin since 1992.
