Nina Zottmayr-Hartmann
Nina Zottmayr-Hartmann , also Nina Zottmayer , née Nina Hartmann , ( August 30, 1836 in Aachen - March 2, 1903 in Kassel ) was a German opera singer ( soprano ) and singing teacher .
Life
Zottmayr-Hartmann was a popular dramatic singer in Hamburg, Graz, Frankfurt and at the Kassel court theater from 1856 to 1882. Well-known roles were “Norma”, “Fides” etc. In addition, she and her husband Max Zottmayr took part in the world premiere of the posthumous Singspiel The Conspirators (censorship title: The domestic war ) by Franz Schubert on August 29, 1861 in Frankfurt am Main .
The opera singer Ludwig Zottmayr was her brother-in-law.
